    Hey guys,

My GF is in her first year of many at SMU (arts/education). I am wondering if you guys have any books that you no longer need from when you went. New books are pretty pricey so even if i find one or two used ones, it helps.

****Here is the List of Books she needs for this Semester****

SOC 212 In Our Times: The Essentials - 2nd edition (Diana Kedall)

    PHI 200 Critical Thinking

CLA 202 Classic Mithology (M. Morford)
    Aeschylus I, Oresteia (R. Lattimore)
Who's Who in the Ancient World (Betty Radice)
    Her Kind (J. Cahill)

PSY 329 Child Development: Its Nature and Course 5th edition

REL 221 The Sacres Paths: Understanding the Religions of the World)

Let me know what you have,

    Thanks in advance.

I don't have any used ones, but before you buy new, get the ISBN numbers off the books and check Chapters or Amazon... chances are you'll save a bunch on the new book prices.

They aren't cheap, but on Chapters website they don't charge MSRP + like a University book store does.

I suggested the same to R6BikerChick, and she PMd me to say the one book she bought online saved her $50...

trust me man, at SMU, you wont NEED the books for the first 2 years.... go to the lectures, they'll read you the book.
and that way you wont get robbed at our bookstore either.... 25%markup on the list price... thats just silly.

Are you a retard????? Of course you need the books. Why else would people pay $100's of dollars on them???? I've taken 24 classes and there was ONE class I didn't buy the book for. But if you're happy with D's, giver.

Jane, did you try the book exchange?
