Anyone have one of these laying around that they no longer use? or that they removed from a car back from when they were popular but never got around to installing in a new vehicle?

If so I am looking for one.

Had one and sold it. May I suggest a Bluetooth ODBII adapter instead? $15 and an Android phone and it'll do more than a ScanGauge II :o

I want it for an embedded solution in my truck - I have a bluetooth adaptor now.

In my truck I have an empty void in my over-head console (which I installed there) which one of these will fit in nicely.

 I've looked on and off the past few months, there hasn't been a "good deal"
I simply want something that I can make come on with the car, show the same data and shut off with the car... I don't want to have to dick around with a touch screen, making it boot the same app, etc. Also the Bluetooth adaptor hits you in the shin if you try to keep it there while driving

I KNOW WHAT I WANT GUYS!!!!! GOSH!!!!!

I also noticed mine kills my battery if left in the port while the car is off. I didn't think it would do that, but it did in both my BMW 330i and the Civic sedan.

Mine kills the battery in my truck if I leave it in. Only use it when I need to now

I know that you've already made up your mind, but an ODB T Harness would fix that. Something like this: http://www.anythinggps.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=263
The bluetooth adapter ends up hiding under the dash somewhere, and your ODB port is left unobstructed in case you need it for something else.

Thanks but I have a Bluetooth adapter, but I want something I leave in the truck and don't touch... Yes I know the Bluetooth adapter can do everything the wired one can but I don't want to have to frig with it. I have one in my car and very much enjoy it.

I've been on quite the Journey with these damn things - turns out there are numerous version and I happened to buy a really old one used a few weeks back... I'd be curious to know if yours has hard buttons or soft rubbery buttons?
