In the new year I will be looking for a tranny to bolt to a 305sb. Also need a passenger side drop transfer case to fit it.

Any one hears of any drop me a note. Thanks

Oh yeah and of course cheaper the better, PREFER manual 4 or 5sp, but if price right wil consider an auto.

Yup. was hoping to go 350 but can't pass up a free 305 in a car. LOL that way I get the rad and all the parts I need for in the engine bay. Just need a tranny and tc then I can make custom driveshafts to fit.

The motor is originally out of a chev half ton. Your right it's not a performance motor, but when compared to the stock for cyl it's gonna have more than enough power. For a while that is teehehee. And once the truck is set up for the V8 I can always swap in a 350 later.

84 Toyota 4x4. Small light truck so the 305 should turn the 33's. And might going with 35's next week.

Yeah, 305s can make decent torque. So should work well for what you need.

Even with out knowing what the tranny is I have to say sorry too pricey.

I'm going to look at a 350/4bl. If doesn't work out the 305 will do for now.
