Here's a pic I grabbed yesterday while on my way to the photoclub meeting in Barrington (I took the back roads). I believe it was in Forbe's Point... never been there before so I took a drive. :D

    Here's another grab I took...

Nice job Clif. I really like the first one. I'm gonna have to take a drive to Forbes Point. Haven't been there in a long time.

First one really does it for me, spot on. If I remember correctly, you starting shooting (or at least posting) around the same time I did, and your progression has been great. Keep it up!

Love the tones in the first one cliff. From a compositional standpoint I am not sure I am sold on it though. Too much going on to the right of the boat.

I really like the first one a lot. My only suggestion would be to bring up the exposure in the foreground (the sand/seaweed). Just seems a little dark to me. Then again, bringing it up could kill the mood you having going on....

Thanks man... yeah I saw you also joined IE in 2005... do you still have/use the D40? :)

Thanks Aaron, I have the same feelings... the wharf on the right catches your eye and is a bit distracting and taking away from the boat itself. I was waiting for someone to comment on that! :)

Yeah, like you said, I don't think that bringing it up would help this pic. I like the surrounding dark areas as it brings more focus to the bow of the boat.
