    What does it start with? - Changing it may not matter!

    thats definetly the easiest way, and with win 95/98 / ME its the same except you would type "winipcfg" insted of "ipconfig "

    Problem with that is depending on the service he has the computer and ISP will probably track his last know IP. If the same IP is available in the pool then it will just be re-assigned to him.

    The real question that needs to be answered first is why does he need a new IP address in the first place.

    Why not just spoof another ISP.. no worries then.

    Worst part is, he's doing it because he got banned from a web site that he says he doesn't like... he obviously likes it enough to try and get back on :rolleyes:
