I need a wireless router. Very small place (like 600sq/ft). It's only going to get used for like eight or nine months, so I'm looking to stay cheap.

    What do I look for? G? N?

I have no clue about this issh...

G or N. G may be cheaper. If its just for light duty/small space, I've had good luck with Linksys and Belkin products. I use a Belkin N1 now, very user friendly and free telephone tech support.

Werd...G is cheaper and not capable of the same speeds as N. If its just for lightweight, close range stuff....G is good. I've always had Dlink routers....but linksys and belkin have a good rep too.

Her belkin worked fine in the old house, it's a little limited now with the new place...But, the cust service is stellar, she had her old one for like 3 years, it fucked up and they gave her a new one over the phone, no receipt or anything
