How much snow did you get in Ont?

It has been a decent Winter here, supposed to be a high of -27 on Sunday, looking forward to heading to Vancouver next week, it will rain but at least it isn't achy testicle cold.

Went out last night after work in the pouring rain and cleared a pretty big section of ice hoping it'd freeze nice overnight

Went down this morning to check it out :ohnoes:

Just a light dusting of snow with a nice surface underneath. Going to have a little skating party this weekend for Emily and her friends

Fuck no. It was all I could do to clear that myself. The snow on the edges was like a 50/50 water/snow mix. A shovel full weighed about 25lbs lol

As much as I like dogs, cats etc and I'd be fine with them in the work place

What if someone has an allergy, you could royally fuck up someones day if they have bad allergies

They ask and make a note on your file if you have any issues with her. They keep her barricaded in the back during your appointment (I asked how they manage it)

It has been an extreme cold warning for the last 10 days, looks like at least another week. I escaped to Vancouver this week, and I will be in Halifax next week. Fuck this cold.

    define "easy winter"

the 20 degree temperature swings, the monsoons always following a snowfall and then freezing the next day; way more annoying then just getting a bunch of snow.
we're becoming more and more like st.john's everyday

A nice mess in Seattle that started last week with a couple inches of snow that shut things down for a few days. Cue snow Friday afternoon through Saturday that brought 6” or so and a mess again. More coming tonight and potentially Monday. I figure my kids get back to school in a couple of weeks.

I’ve barely had to shovel. Sure the rain sucks but it’s only temporary.

I work outside for a living, trust me. We’ve had a decent winter

Agreed. At my work we need to make plans around bad weather days, and we haven’t had to implement any this winter so far and none at all last year

I haven't even attached my snowblower to the tractor yet... I have worn my tooth'd back blade right the fuck out scraping driveways due to ice though... I just picked up a salter/sander for the back of the tractor (some repair required) to try to better deal with the ice though...

Give us rain, or give us now. One or the other. None of this freezing rain shit that makes getting around impossible.
