Turkey #2 is in the oven. Around 50 folks coming for a “Canadian Thanksgiving in Seattle” this afternoon. Probably in over our head but it’s all friends coming so looking forward to a good time.

Ha! We actually reserved a shelter and a bunch of tables at a park near our place - kept all the mess there, worked out great.

I hope you at least teased her that the porn she was watching was obviously too hot for the TV to handle.

I've been disappointed in Outlander this season. Not once has my wife come home from watching it at a friends house all riled up about Jamie. The "what's in it for me" factor is really low this season.

Yeah, we've been in touch with Costco who we got it from. Really great to deal with. Bring it back for a refund.

Costco is amazing to deal with.

My hose split after 2 years and I legit brought it back in a garbage bag no packaging nothing. Just a old hose in a bag. Gave me a new one no questions.

Indeed. I do believe any TV is 2 years with Costco. Regardless seems like that doesnt really matter as I was over that.

The product I work on was awarded an Oscar yesterday. That’s fucking cool. Well, really, the award goes to the original creators but we did the application as a team effort. Flying high! Hoping to get to head to Hollywood for the award ceremony.

For sure! To be clear, this is the Scientific Achievement Oscars so it is separate from the big show - dunno if there is a red carpet.

Went for a walk at lunch and got treated to some homeless dude taking a crap right next to the trail I was on. Nice.

Homeless issues here are out of control.

I went back to work on Wednesday. Wasn't easy getting up so early with the kids again.... Was great sleeping in every day. Youngest can sleep in to eight no issues but won't sleep past that. Oldest is only 6 but acts like a teenager, would sleep til noon if we let him. Was a relaxing holiday!
