My kombucha habit is getting too pricey. Going to try to brew my own.... step one... grow a SCOBY

    100g of raw sugar
    1 bottle of GT's kombucha
    1.7L of steeped black/green tea

I know what kombucha is...I need to watch at least 3 more Netflix documentaries on gut health before considering it.

I just like the taste of it. Dunno if it does any good for your health or not. The bottles are like $4 each in the store and if I drink 3 or 4 a week, it adds up. Just hoping to save some dough :o

It's good for your gut health, the whole purpose of it...there is no other reason to even consider it, lol.

wasn't quite that cold at the house - there are a few "cold spots" between my place and Stewiacke and you can then generally watch the temperatures rise until I get to the city.

I've thought about making a GPS/temperature logger just out of pure geeky desire but haven't found the time. Honestly I'm kind of surprised vehicle manufacturers haven't teamed up to cloud provide some of that data. If the vehicle is moving they generally provide pretty reliable temperature data.

When I built the car I combined harnesses from 3 vehicles to make it.

2 door TDIs here were as basic as they came, I added:
    • Power windows
    • AC
    • Climatronic
    • Auto-dimming rear view from an Audi
    • Heated seats
    • higher end stereo wiring
    • Jetta lighted vents
    • steering wheel with stereo/cruise control
    • Factory fog lights
    • Lower grill fog lights
    • custom controls for the fog lights in the ashtray
I still have the stock harness somewhere - used a 4 door TDI harness as my starting point.

I didn't fuck around either - took harnesses apart and blended everything together as it would have been stock. I've been driving the car for what, 5 or 6 years now without a single wiring problem (related to what I did - an ABS pigtail went bad)

It's about as close to a true "GTD" as you'll find around here... only thing I don't have is a sunroof

Attended the Motorcycle Powersports show last weekend. I really wish there were some more custom bikes but thoroughly enjoyed the Scrambler <3

Yup - looked at one last year pretty hard, I really like the brown seat more though.

This used yellow one was actually $6500 at the time (had like 800 km on it) - it was hard to leave the store but I had to

Brown ftw for sure! Agree with you there. Just gives it that classic look. The one there wasn't for sale (at least I didn't see anything posted with it).

The yellow is sweet and not bad for the price really. I'm still a sucker for the classic black with older styling and details.

Same - but there was a substantial price difference there and I wasn't even there with the intention of buying something, was just there with a friend haha

I also spent a lot of time looking at a Yamaha Bolt last year.... ughhhh

I have been enjoying Kombucha for a little while myself. Didn’t really get on it for the gut health....I just tried it and the weird flavour is oddly satisfying . GTs Original is my favourite so far
