Corvette isnt really a muscle car either tbh
Yeah, I think once you have the ability to take a corner, you fall out of the muscle car category lol
id consider a corvette a sports car
but it does fit the actual definition of a muscle car.
"Muscle car is an American term for high-performance cars, usually rear-wheel drive and fitted with a large and powerful V8 engine. "
as does the mustang but thats always been considered a pony car
Definition aside, when I think muscle car I think of a big block american car that'll pin you to your seat from stoplight to stoplight. Something big and heavy that's built to go fast in a straight line.
The vette will set you back in the seat for sure.
5.7l v8 405hp 405tq
For a big car its really not that heavy though at 3000ish
I dynoed it 2 weeks ago and it hit 345/340 and it makes 300ft/lbs tq at 2300rpm
and they perform well in the corners too!
Really well with his new coilovers!
I rented a 2019 Stingray while in Florida recently. It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately the top of the window is in my field of vision and I have to stoop down to see anything like traffic lights or road signs.
I guess my mid-life crisis will require a different screaming yellow vehicle. :P
I took my nephews miata out the the windshield frame covered stoplights when I was waiting for them.
Never thought that would be such a pain in the ass. Ended up looking over the windshield
