Since I just bought mine today whats everyone rolling with for a winter beater this year? I bought a 1988 chevrolet s10......it needs work and a flat black paint job
Here's my winter slut. 1988 Mazda 323 DX Notice the Luxurious sheep skin seat covers (Eat your hearts out leather owners)
00 Protege 96 Corolla 02 Caravan i love living at home...no need to drive around in a 84 tercel or something i'd have to pay $300 a month on insurance for
My car IS a winter beater. Summer beater too. Seems dumb to me to buy a winter car for something thats only worth about $5k tops.
I just sing to myself and beep the horn creating my own songs when i'm driving my beater. Only one speaker works and the deck is a dial tuneable AM/FM radio unit.
if i stay here for the winter, i'll be buying an 84 rabbit. if i go out west in jan i'll have to find somthing out there and drive the dub for the next couple months.
My beaters are as follows.....04 Civic and 03 Element.....Civic for the nice bare pavement days......Element for little more snow.....
ya for sure... once i get it out for good (insurance reasons) oh and i found out my tape player doesnt work sooooo hopefully my horn does, so i can use Steve's idea
Yeah i can remember a certain solo 2 where i launched the bitch (usually use the parking brake) and well for some reason it didn't fully come off, of course half way through the run i was like, jesus christ this thing snaps the tail out, and of course looked down and was like a hah the p brake, and of course released it fully. Bear in mind i use this car to it full extent in the winter, had two friends actually throw up out the window because the donunts were to fast and well the spinning around got to them. God blesh her......
I guess my winter beater is my 97 Integra GS-R 4 door, but a friend is borrowing it right now and winter's not much of a concern anyhow.
