urgh...I dont even want to think about winter beaters now....the summer went by waaaaay to fast 91 Accord for me
i've been tweaking mine this week, its a 91 civic hatch CX, i bought it from a customer at work who bought a new accord, got a kickass deal on it. A few weeks ago i picked up a D16A1 from a guy who said it was down on compression in one cylinder, so he swapped a ZC in, i took it all apart, rebuilt it top to bottom and put it in the hatch, and it works some good, going in for a paint job today or tomorrow and is going flat black. Watch for the super beater at the sept 11-12 race in miramichi
Hoping to not need one this winter.....might be out of here. But if not I've got my trusty 84 Rabbit with 91 motor. Works like a charm, but needs front wheel bearings in a bad way
84 s10 baby see if i can get some pics.. here we gofull custom paint... took about and hour with spray bombs mm mmmmmint!!
Well I'm actually driving my Beretta year round I think.. and probably keeping the truck in storage for the winter. But this is my old beater, which is still sitting outfront with a for sale sign in it, if anyone wants it
I've got $1000 on the sign.. but I'm pretty easy going about the price if someone seriously wanted it.
after todays events....my new beater SHOULD be...(checking parts prices as I type this).....an 04 TSX....pics to follow......soon
I have a Suzuki Sidekick, but I'm selling it this Thursday sans Chrome rims for $150. Love to drive the 928 in the winter cause it has heated seats, mirrors, etc, etc - but I think that is a bad idea. Looking in the Bargin Hunter as I type for a winter beater. I'd like another Sidekick and I can put my cool rims on it.
