"you drag we snag" hahah, wonder if the drivers will do anything about the broken front bumpers, its on video that they did break them
Why in the fawk would the police allow the "pier" to move around impounded cars with an industrial fork lift? Why couldn't the Police have displayed the cars at a regular impound lot? Does "impounding" mean something different in the states? You're in the wrong; your car gets impounded and you pay a premium to have it released... No rocket science there, but does that in turn give someone the right to destroy your property? I'd be fawk-in livid! :x
hahahahaha "$30k into the engines..." "custom intakes" this news report is like an alternate ending to the fast and the furious
Funny how the news crew did nothing to learn about what they were reporting on before they rambled in front of the camera. how can you spend 25-35k on an engine? Those cars are all JDM tyte yo
Bingo. Not their fault. If you break the law involving your vehicle, they legally tow it, they damage your vehicle, the owner of the car = responsible. Either suck it up or stop breaking the law.
I can understand and accept the legality behind it. My problem with that video was the SiR appeared to be fine until they decided to shuffle it around with the forklift. Of course you’re going to fawk a car up, no mater what mods it has, if you move it around with a machine like that. Does that make it right? If so, why not just destroy the car in the name of the law. If the SiR made it off the tow truck without any damage, than moving it again for display at the pier was just unnecessary. The S2000 on the other hand appeared to be damaged before the segment even began, so I would assume that happened when it was towed.
The fork lift has a towing attachment, that tow trucks use, at the end of it. You can see it after the bumper gets ripped off.
