I have an LG G4, it's been a decent phone. Had it replaced under warranty in January when my first one got stuck in the famous G4 Boot loop. But I find my 4 year old, smashed to hell Nexus 5 is still a faster phone. I'm using the Nexus as a music source in my shed, hooked up to my amp.

Anyone have the Google Pixel XL? Samsung Galaxy S7? These so far are what I'm considering. I need a larger screen. Got spoiled by the G4 screen.

    Suggestions?

I'm running a 6P. Apparently Sony is coming out with a killer phone, had 2 Sony's before switching to Nexus phones. Seemed they were more durable if you're hard on phones.

My 5x bootlooped yesterday and apparently I missed both the warranty and recall by a month. Making some calls tomorrow to see if i can get it repaired.

I picked up the LG G6 since it was in a promotion. Specs are decent, camera is good and the memory is expandable. Seems okay so far

I'm leery about getting another LG phone because of the bootloop issue the G4 and V10 were famous for. I see Telus will be offering the new Essential Phone. Specs are pretty amazing for it.

Whatever I get will have to have an Otterbox. It's a life saver.

HTC u11 is pretty sweet. Pixel has probably the best camera. My two choices

Pixel XL is currently $200 off and you get a free daydream view VR headset with it
