Still married! I left the HVAC life behind a long time ago. I took up a career as a plumber / pump tech since about 2008, but always kind of dabbled with the HVAC stuff but I sold off my tools. Now looking to transition out of the field work and find something else to do. And yeah man….G is my dude, he was the best man at my wedding! I can’t see us ever not being homies From what I recall you used to work with some pretty impressive equipment. Any changes in your life?
no Greg goodie unfortunately passed away in 2018 from a tragic case of alcohol poisoning after he drank half of a white claw
Nice my dude. I still work with the heavy equipment in some capacities. But I have had a few promotions and now I manage production for our entire facility. Still kinda funny they gave an idiot like me the keys to a $20 billion operation.
It's funny you mention that, when they first took my sock off to get ready to put a cast on me in the hospital she was like "oh, you must play golf" Me: "Probably no way I'm gonna make our 1:10 tee time tomorrow is there?"
Yep. Can't see me leaving any time soon either. Love my job, hate the city but it's great for my boys. Lots of great programs for kids, plenty of sports for them and it would be foolish to walk away from everything my employer provides.
Isn't that a description of most of the folks who work/run things in the Oil Sands? Not a bad thing but definitely a career path with opportunities beyond most folks' dreams coming out of high school.
Nope I took an early "retirement" due to health issues about a year before the great lumber gouging of 21
That's right. Haha what a night. We're you with us at the bar Stevie bartended at when she closed it and they coyote uglied on the bar with pictures of water? That was a good time too
Thank you! That website looks great, will definitely keep it in mind for down the road. Right now I'm newborn groundhog day - change, feed, burp, wash bottles/pump parts, repeat with some snuggles in between. Trying to sleep when the baby sleeps but I find it hard during the day even when I'm tired. Thank God my husband is home with me for the first month to help adjust and take turns with things!
I lurk from time to time. Don't have much time/patience for politics/covid though, so rarely post. I live in the woods in New Brunswick, and run a successful (by my standards) online retail/resale business with my wife.
I know what you're up to dumbass. With your sexy dirtbike and overpriced foreign trucks and million covid tests
Here is a short article about why lumber prices are high basically it's the government (NDP), in BC anyway. https://ckpgtoday.ca/2021/10/07/lum...rices/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook
