There is no radio here in the office, so I have had one headphone in my ear to listen to my iPod. I can't focus unless there is background noise... and the constant humming/whiring of the computers is annoying to me.

Is there anyone else who has to have music on to keep them sane throughout the day?

I listen to talk radio most days, and sometimes I listen to my ipod, but I always have something going.

Always have the radio on. If the radio isn't on, I've got a cd playing. Depends on my mood, but I need something. First thing I do when I get to my desk in the morning is turn the music on.

mp3 player hooked up to speakers cranking out some funky shit all day. Days when I forget the mp3 player I have a am/fm radio I put on the forklift. LOOOOOONG repetitive day with out the music. Get some funny looks from outside drivers as I drive back and forth singing, but beats just standing there.

    Pandora rocks.

Having music going is a necessity. I work from home and my wife is at home on mat. leave with the 2 kids.. I need to drown that out or I can't concentrate.

I'm also guilty of always needing music on.
When i'm in the shower in the am I have the radio on (C100), then when i'm getting ready in my room I have to put more music on.
Listen to my mp3 player on the bus on the way to work.
And.. I listen to the radio all day at work.
If i'm hanging out in my room after work, I usually have music on to (if the tv isn't on)
I'm sure that I drive my roomies crazy.. I just can't stand it when it's quiet.

We've got a radio on in the office most of the time. If I'm really trying to concentrate on something and get things done, I don't like having the radio on. Other than those instances, it's fine to have it as background noise.

We have the radio piped in through the whole office... if the boss chooses the station he puts it on C100. The rest of the time its on 96.5 which isn't my first choice but I find I sing along to some of the tunes!

No music is a HUGE drag!!
At my old job I listened to Q104 online

I get seriously irritated at the littlest thing my coworkers do. Music helps to escape the every little annoying sound they make. I think I have issues with this.

Yes if I take a portable with me. I'm always driving either Yard Gantrys or Front end loaders or yard tractors or something but it's nice to have something to listen to other than the 2way blaring in your ear all day lol

I don't get to hear any music...unless the person has a radio in the house. And that is only if we don't turn all his/her power off. The only sound I usually hear is my boss's cell phone ring, or the sound of a breaker in somone's panel turining off. I sure miss the days in the class, when we had the radio on.

I make my own music at work. I'll usually rock out with a guitar while I teach drums. We recorded the kids for the first time yesterday and it sounded awesome. Unfortunately, the file exploded and doesn't work anymore.
