If you could have one free and clear, which one would it be? for me, I'd look a lot more at home on the Rigid, but I'm a speed freak. R1=
I'd take number 1, because for some reason they are insanely expensive. So, I could sell it to some rich wannabe, take the cash, buy a CBR1000RR + Titanium Akrapovic full exhaust system, a PowerCommander III, frame sliders, some assorted carbon fiber goodies and pay for a years insurance with gas money left over. Then I'd look better (IMO), be faster, more reliable, better handling and actually more comfortable... *Edit: But if I didn't have the choice of selling it and I had to keep it, I'd take the chopper because I've already got a CBR600... I don't need two sportbikes....
id take a chopper, but not that chopper, when i was older... but any sport bike (over 750cc) + Me = death... so right now id have to say maybe a CBR600 or R6... i guess we'll just have to see waht i get this summer.
i actually saw that eh... ill get back to you when i get my accident money adn see how big the cheque is.
i can appriciate the art and teh work that went into that bike... but i just dont like teh style... seems like a lot of money on something that only you can enjoy alone
Sounds like a deal. Keep me in mind. .. and chances are you won't find a better used one.. ask 96AccordEX, or DJQ, or Shafft etc. how I am about my vehicles. The F4i only has 2800km on it and it's had..um...3 oil changes...
aight wicket... i will keep that in mind. But since any bike will be my first, im a bit weary on a bike newer than a '99.
Bah.. newer ones crash cheaper.. more plentiful parts. Seriously though, only get something you are comfortable with and can afford. And yes, your first bike is probably better off being an older bike. But, that being said, my first bike was a 99 CBR600F4... and that was in 2000....
I'd take the sport bike at this point in my life.. .but I'm sure once I'm 30 I'd be all over that chopper
... and to be fair, you should have at least posted a pic of the current R1 (04 model) not last years 03 model...
I hate the big whjeel gap on choppers - i think it just looks way too empty between the front wheel and the body
Hmmmmmm......let me think. Haha, if you're giving it to me, fuck what it's worth, 12 bar and a FI crash cage would make for too much fun on the R1. I'd love to beat the fuck out of a brand new bike...lol
