for the people who mod and customize their cars whats your goal? for me im just trying to build a nice clean and simple but yet different from just the stock look nothing flashy
To build something different...there are not too many modified 88 Preludes with 4WS around these parts anymore. I just want to keep it nice and clean looking. Tyler
I use my civic hatch as my truck. Not planning to do any mods to this one....although I'll probably fix the rear quarter panel rust at some point. As for my Accord, I'd like to get some rims for it, even if they are just factory alloys. It's a wonderful car to drive and I love it.
Keep the old pimp sled from falling apart until I graduate. The hunt down a 93-94 SE with leather factory side skirts and LSD.
Mine would be to have it run smoothly like when it was stock at low rpms, but still not sacrifice power up top......Proving to be very hard to do. Also to not eat up and spit out drivevline pieces whenever it feels like it. Clutch=1 Me=0 2500kms on stock pressure plate.....of course it was only designed for 90hp
Either sell the gsr or make it a full blown track car (although it pretty much is) If gsr sells then grab something like a (e30 m3,0 e36 m3, lotus super seven, corba kit) CL dump in a years time and replace with something Jeep who cares its a brick shit house and well modified... 260hp now. Perfect for snow and boat hauling..... Modifying cars for the street is useless now as the insurance companies and police are cracking down. In Toronto during the dark nights event some 1400 cars were pulled over, 700 got tickets, and 200 were taken off the street all together. Won't be long before that happens here......
Very true..although the "racing screne" seems very quiet here compared to the larger cities. Sureyou have a few groups here and there, but nothing like Toronto, calgary or winnipeg. They even said on the news a while back, while interviewing an Officer, they get very little reports of street racing in HRM. Oh and to stay on topic. I want to enjoy my car. When i just want to cruise, i want to enjoy it. Feel the torque, the way the car pulls out of corners. I just want to enjoy it!
Actually scratch that!!! My goal is to get a tranny that actually last more then 6 fucking months!! Tyler
to the e30 m3. such a great car, and i think the body lines are absoultely incredible. my dream is to have one as a track car one day. i drooled over this for hours at waterfest last year
