the last time I checked it was at a shoppers drug mart about 20 minutes after I had a big mac and fries, and it was 120/80. this was in july or august.
Don't know the numbers but I remember getting it taken at the docs a few months ago and he said I was textbook.
120/80 - usually taken about once a week or so (not because I have problems with high BP or anything, but to make sure our skills stay fresh, we take each other's vitals a lot for training).
I'm not sure what the numbers are but she usually says it's "textbook". But last time I was at the doctors she said it was kind of low.
104/something...every time for the last 10 years that I've gotten it taken it's been 104, except for right after needles, then it's a lot lower.
Same, mine is usually 118/76 though today after a bunch of coffee and Tylenol cold mine was up to 134/84
relatively high, I had to wear a monitor for 24 hours one time and record what I was doing when it monitored. The results came back normal though, so it's more of a dr office/nervous thing.
Sunday it was up to 148/96 Stopped taking pills and the cold is going away, it's cumming back down now. Its amazing to see how simple sickness and cold pills effect your body functions.
It would mostly be the cold medication. It's a vasoconstrictor, which leads to higher BP. Hint - if you're a fair-skinned person who turns red when you drink, you can take a vasoconstrictor first and then the alcohol won't make you look flushed
I had an operation Friday afternoon to kill a non-cancerous tumor on my left kidney at the QE2...HI....one of them....anyhoo, after the operation, the nurse was in every hour to check my BP, and it never went over 117/75. Low was 110/72. Not bad considering I'm 'chunky'
