So i want to start looking around for a new(new to me) car but i dont know what i shuld get. Right now i drive a 97 4 door accent, its a reliable car but id like to have something a tad more powerful. Now this is what im looking for: ~nothing older then a 95 ~not too high on insurence ~moderate milage ~not too powerful-i cant afford the gas I dont need a sports car, just something reliable. I also only have around 5 or 6 grand to spend. So what do you guys think,am i dreaming or is it possible to get what im looking for with what im willing to spend?
you should be able to get a sunfire, cavalier, civic for that price.....sunfire's and cav's aren't overly reliable though
should be able to find a decent intgra with that... may be a little older than what you want if your interested i know where theres a good one for around 4500
yeah i was thinking about a corolla, thats what my mom drives. Do ya think i could get a 97 for like 6 grand?
volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon volkswagon VERY reliable.. VERY good on gas.. and insurance is decent!!.. (I know some honda goers will argue with me.. only because they prolly never owned a vdub before..except lucas :P..but those who like it.. like it a lot! ) not OVERLY powerful (105 hp, 130 lbs torque).. but VERY peppy, handles well and dont rust very fast ..ive owned my car for 5 yrs now..and its never failed me once!!.. err well after i added mods like 2 1/4 inch straight flow exhaust, header etc.. i lost my back pressure .. so i swapped it for a bigger motor!!! .. and yes it DOES work!
older VW's are garbage i dont care what anyone says they are trash never buy one youve never had any problems with ur car leslie??? HAHAHAHAHa i BEG to differ they are slow.. look like a box and after u sink 10000into them they are still slow i know i owned one go for the newest car u can get dont buy an older car AT LEAST get a 95or newer anything else isnt worth wasting your money on!
haha are you serious when you say that??? I cant believe that man. My 8v was beating hondas all over the place and I had shit all done to my motor. I've NEVER had a big problem with my dub either! Just typical shit like belts etc. Wait till this summer when mine gets out. IT will be fast as fuck and you will be eating your words for sure.
yea MK beating stock 1.5 litre civics lol i had my 8v done up... it had every N/A engine mod you could do to it paired with a close ratio tranny, lightened flywheel stage 2 clutch, neuspeed short shift., fuck i dont wanna list it all..... n e way i would beat most civics but when i came up to a almost stock tegs they wold chew me dont tell me 8v are fast cuz they arent i know first hand ive been tainted by bikes im sorry i will never ever go back to just owning a car buy a bike
yeah, 8vs are the slowest motors out there. But thats not the only motor that came stock in the old VW's. VTEC or whatever all the ricers got, this summer my cars gonna be screaming and they better look out
YEA!!!.. what he said!! ...mmmmm summer!!.. cant wait! .. *note.. this topic made by scubalis implied that she didnt want a super fast car anyway.. i think she wants somthing reliable.. not so much fast..besides those two things dont usually go hand in hand
If you were going to post the word so bloody many times, you'd think you might decide to actually spell it correctly! Guess not.
Sometimes, lol..........it's away for the winter now so I'm not worrying until spring, never advertised it much......Hard to say. Show me the money and it'll be gone.
i will definatly argue with u on that one, my old 8V was fast as fuck, ask anyone that drove my car before my swap. and evan when u owned your vw before ur bike u thought it was the cats meow! but u are now driving a bike, no comaprison.... and maybe your vw needed work? just cause it had shit done to it doesnt mean its gonna work great, old cars need TLC. id walk before i spent anything on a honda 92 or older they are buckets ( unless of course u wanna sink like 3000+ into it) so back to the original question she asked .. for what u want to spend a toyota is a great car for sure.
Shouldn't have any problem selling it, its a sweet car....but worth way more than she is willing to spend.
i'm selling a nice 91 tempo only 800 bucks, i know it isn't a 95 or newer but hey for 800 bucks you can't go wrong! (works awesome)
Slow most of the time? Yes, Bullett proof? Yes. It evens out in the end if you are using it for differnt things. I know 8v's that were hanging with Corvetts. Ask the guy at Harringtons he use to have an old Blue Golf in mint shape. It was turboed, but still its an 8v!!!!!!! So take your pile of dog shit and eat it ricer!!!!
volkswagon volkswagen whatever... at least us canadians KNOW how to spell colour(british/ENGLISH spelling) as opposed to color and what ever other words ur dumb country has decieded to change
Regardless of what you might think about the coloquial spellings of certain words, those coloquialisms are indeed correct and your spelling of Volkswagen was improper so just eat your medicine you stupid fuckin' cunt.
