what is the latest P2P sharing program?

    what's everyone using now for downloading music ?? been out of the scene for a bit , looking to start downloading shit again ( mostly music )

    I use Kazaa lite and I download whole albums from Bittorrent. www.suprnova.org is good for full CD's if you know how to use BT,if not you should do some reading before you try it or you will likely be dissapointed.

    eMule to add another to the list. I used Win MX, and found it good. Kazaa is ok for some things still, but other programs are better now.

    the mount has put up firewalls on a bunch of file sharing programs so i swtiched from win mx to ares and that wrked for a bit and i think that they caught onto it lately cuz its not wrking...blubster sometimes works!! cant wait to get home and be able to d/l music again!

    could you do anything to get them to unblock the ports so you can download music...since it is not illegal in canada anymore?

    or would it be the decision of the University to keep their bandwidth usuage low?

    It's to keep the bandwidth usage low, There's usually a cap on how much you can download in the run of a day, fines if you go over.
