You don't have to go extremely fast to have fun... when the sky is upside down and you're plummeting back towards the earth at about 140km/h from a few thousand ft, it's more than fast enough...

i was out the other day in a 2014 GT500 with the new 5.8sc 662hp, and its been a while since i've felt a rush in a car, that one did the trick. Fuck it is absolutely mind blowing fast.

190 on a Suzuki Bandit. Tried for 200 but it didn't make it.

In the ole WRX I had it going fast "enough". Once you get there its really like "Ok.. now what? Guess I'll slow back down and stop being an asshat".

88.5 Escort, 4sp manual. 160 in 3rd, topped out at 180ish in 4th (overdrive gear). Scariest ride I ever had, talk about suspension float.

Hit 265 on a bike, but it was geared high and off by about 10-15% so I would guess in the 230 range, terrifying.

Had a diesel F350 doing 210...also quite terrifying.

Not too fast...hard to resist the temptation in the GTI but my license is my livelihood. I enjoy getting to the speed limit quickly

Yeah, it's going to be even more expensive when you renew your a) license/plates and b) insurance. Folks tend to slow down after that sort of expense. :)

My old GTI was pretty quick.

I'm reformed and probably haven't exceeded 120kph in ~10 years..

Public road: The fastest I've ever gone was between 180-185 km/h in my parent's 2001 Civic automatic. 115 hp of glory, she was. So ridiculously stupid...

Race track: Just under 200 km/h in a Ferrari F430 on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway road course, just before braking for turn one.

Drove a '12 Mustang GT Track Package with a Roush S/C (Stage 3) and full exhaust recently... Owner said it's a little under 600 now, so I understand the rush. It was absolutely insane.

    220-230ish for me

I was about 185km/hr on my motor cycle before i hit a rut and wabbled. Lesson learned, never got near that fast on a bike ever again.

I have hit the 160km/h limiter in my truck a few times. My old work had a long private drive with fresh pavement, so I'd punch it on the way home every once and a while when I worked nights. I did it with a quad in the back passing 2 semis and a 70's motorhome crawling on the highway once too :o

My cousin had a souped up '83 Ford F150 Ranger that he pegged the 140km/h speedo and kept pulling for ~10 seconds after. Couldn't guess how fast that was. Said a cop caught him over 200 in it :kekeke:

Whats a speeding ticket worth in NS now? I got pulled over last week doing 25 over, and the ticket was $150 lol. Back home 10 years ago it would have been $387.50

On the limiter in 6th on a modded TL1000R, I think they were good for 280kph with the stock gearing.

Not all that fast in the racecar, 250kph, maybe, but it spends a lot of time north of 200kph easily, with enough room and gearing it might go over 200mph.

Normal street car, probably my M3, had it on the limiter in 5th, no idea what that is speed wise. I have been in many much faster street cars, but all students cars on the track.

I bought Boots' SiR, had it for 2 years and sold it to B!tch from here, well her BF, no idea where it is now.
