No one ever ventured beyond the boundries of their own continent? I was thinking about this last night while watching the Obama party. I came to the conclusion that Natives would still be fishing and hunting with bows, spears and nets. Blacks would still be in Africa, AIDS free. Europe would be insanely crowded but otherwise, not a lot different than we our lives today. China would be poor because they wouldn't be able to export their crap to the rest of the world. Blacks bitch about the slave days, but ultimately, they have a better life today because they, for a short period (relatively speaking) in history, had it bad. Throughout history, there have been slaves. How do you think the Pyramids were built? There's more slaves today than there ever have been in the history of our planet. Not much is being said or done about that, is there? A little, but not enough to make a difference in the world. I think it's about time the each ethnic group STFU about problems that happened 100, 200, 500+ years ago. Forget that you have brown skin. Forget that your Great Great Great Great Great Grandfather could hunt or fish whenever they wanted. We're all people. We all live on the same planet. A populus planet which is constantly becoming more crowded. We all share the same things. We have more opportunity now than ever before and it's all thanks to shit that went down in history. Sorry it happened, but most people are better off because of it. Thoughts?
