To this engine? If I pulled it out to do a swap, what would have to be junked? It just seems like the fender/bumper/hood/windshield washer fluid resovoir took the brunt of the damage.
Wouldn't it make sense to get someone who knows what they're doing to look at it and tell you whats wrong, ie someone who does it for a living?
The car is in texas so I don't have that option... I figured there there is a bunch of guys on here that know hondas inside out (particularly the B16) So I thought it was wirth a shot. They only want like 4g's american for the entire car.
Yeah, but the front end of that car is pretty messed up. Not sure if you would really want to attempt the bodywork to rebuild it. PLUS, a salvage-titled US car would be a nightmare to try and resell. So, for $4K US, you get a B16 + tranny, SiR wheels and SiR suspension and SiR brakes... other then the headrests everything else is the same as a regular Civic... not really sure it is worth it. Hell, I've got a stock SiR suspenion w/ low km if anyone is interested. (shocks, springs and rear sway-bar)
