Just a topic to throw out there...Ok say you can spend 30,000 CAN$ on a
4 door car. A couple things though, it has to be good in the performance department and has to look good. What would you pick?

Actually I'd take a Mazda 6 V6 over a Mazda 3! Some ppl argue that one with me but I like it a little better.

    For fun, SRT-4 hands down.
For non-racing driving, Audi A4 (used)
Grand Prix GTP would be a nice daily driver too..

I'd spend 10 bills on this and pocket 20k, If I had the cash it would probably have to be black on black 5 speed.

I'd have fun beating the fuck out of that v8 yamaha :P

haha yeah I bet engine parts would be a bit pricey for that rig.

for now I'll have to settle for the 3.0 :)

The V8 LS is a pretty decent car. I drove a 2001 for about a year, and didn't have any complaints at all. Decent power, comfortable, maybe a bit big for some, be handled well for a car it's size...

Jetta GLI sport addition, the one with the 18's, body kit, recarro's, and the 1.8 turbo. Really an awesome looking rig.

Good luck with the 5 speed conversion as Ford didn't see fit to build them that way in that bodystyle.

I agree with Burnsie, same color and everything.

obvious choice. But i gathered we were looking at new vehicles, ones with warranty. If warranty isn't an issue then e36 m3 four door all the way.

Well, he said it has to look good and have good performance... obviously for $30K CDN we're talking used at that point.

Not necessarily. The Jetta I mention lists for something like 29,000 new, plus taxes. Even a used E36 M3 worthy of purchase would result in a mid to high 20's price tag plus taxes.

Regardless, for that price there is really not much in the way of new. A TSX new at the lot is 34,000.00

if you load it up with the skirt package, fog lights, gold emblems and such am sure it could cost 39,500.

Shit a new TL is only 41,500........

Base MSRP on a TSX has always been 34,500. plus freight, which is 950.

Obviously outside the range of 30,000.
