You moved to the wrong side of the Rockies if you weren't expecting extreme weather especially down there. Still -22 here
I’d have to say 2015 was our last “bad” winter. It doesn’t get all that cold here anymore for any length of time and any snow we do get is gone within 4-5 days max. All in all I don’t mind our winters compared to pretty much anywhere else in the country
Seems our winters are getting milder by the year as we roll towards completely collapsing earths natural ecosystems.
Nowhere in NB had 2' in that storm, pretty sure 35cm was most anyone seen...might had had some drifts. Nova Scotia (Wentworth) had the most snow. That said when I moved to NB (not to mention went to school here). We had mountains of snow in early Nov that lasted until May. Now we get a few storms and that's it
Talk to me when you get 3 weeks of -40 and see days that can hit -53! It was -20 today and I felt like I didn't need to wear a jacket outside anymore! Warmest day in a month!!
Like the cat in the poster says Hang In There Ottawa needs this so does the East, I feel a little bad for my folks but then I remember they have about 15 cords of wood and 3 wood stoves so they are doing just fine...... enjoy the winter
Was -19 this morning and is supposed to reach 0 sometime today. Pretty wild to think there would be a 19 degree change in less than 24 hours
