Now would be a great time to look at long term infrastructure to stop buying oil from Russia.

I know team green will rage at the thought of us renewing the XL pipeline and perhaps even refining more of our out stock, but........it would be smart.

It doesn't really help the environment for us to relax our side of things and then immediately ask OPEC to churn out more. All it does is pass the buck so we can say "See, we are doing green things" while relying on another part of the world to take the blame so we can buy their oil. Its just blood barrels instead of blood diamonds.

    I dreamed a dream.

And yeah. I concur. But seems most people would rather see Alberta's economy crash and buy oil from foreign markets than see a province in the country we live in succeed.

My wife has been idling the Durango in the driveway for past 40 minutes...the things we do to get a child to nap. I feel like I a horrible person singlehandedly wrecking the planet. I needed a capable vehicle, I just never intended it to be used so much since we didn't have to leave the house regularly (or so we thought prior to kid).

Gonna start researching hybrids or electric cars sooner than later.

I can only go to petro, and like 1 in 5 have it. It’s so annoying

Logged in and saw there was a new post from Nick84Nick84 - thought as I clicked, "I wonder what the meme will be this time?"

I guess I could say I'm not disappointed I was right?

Damn - I manage a new team at work based out of Germany - one guy who leaves at the end of the month, I hadn't invested any time in getting to know. I now find out he's from Ukraine and that's where he was headed back to - on full on trying to help him out - his wife and family fled Kyiv and are at the Romanian border. Trying to see if we can hire him back again - it's crazy.

So - does one shot to the head end this war or would someone else just step into Putin’s shoes and take it over?

    mir: is this all Putin?

I'm hearing on the radio today that Russian elitists who've been effected by the sanctions are offering bounties for someone to take Putin out!

You're question may just get an answer soon amigo!

Putin's basically living in a bunker, though - it's going to take someone close to make it happen.

look at the pictures of his meeting with top officials. He sat 50 ft away from them. Speculation is that he’s afraid of being assassinated and trusts nobody.

I don’t think he’s worried about them shooting him.

Whe whole reason he went into Ukraine was to make room to add the leaf into his table.

It could be worse...we could live in Ukraine. Gas prices suck but it is what it is.

    Its heading to $2.00-$2.25

It was actually projected to be heading there before Ukraine, just much slower and more controlled. In a year or two projections now are dismal. Some projections say it could even double depending on how foreign affairs play out.

Looks like this Russia situation may lead to the current government increasing military spending.
