Apparently it’s a lot of new conscripts, soldiers told they were going to training. Not to mention that major push back from the Ukrainian military and citizens, and the support from a shitload of countries that can gather crazy amounts of intel and report it to them.

They’re also blowing up bridges and railways to stop the Russians from resupplying so now tanks and trucks are running out of fuel. Soldiers have no food.

also the president is staying with his military on the front lines and that’s huge amounts of badassery

All in all it’s super fascinating and the social media aspect of watching it in real time is mind blowing

All my fuel eaters are summertime only vehicles. My daily is a diesel and takes me a few weeks to empty it. I need to stop today to fill up, might the the least expensive in a long time. My M3 is terrible on fuel, and the track vehicles are not even worth talking about fuel economy. The tow rig is lucky to get under 20L/100km when loaded up lol.

Yeah, I haven't had the Durango in sport mode or off ecomode in quite awhile.

Might break down and buy an electric or hybrid for our normal commuting this year. For now, I can swallow the 1.57/l ...

Current avg is 15.4/100...but a lot of idling and remote start. Afternoon naps have been expensive the last little bit.

I average 15.0 ltrs/100k. And have never put it in Eco mode!

That's more than mine. Got mine in June 2020, 39k. But yes, being able to make the trip to edmonton and almost make it all the way back without having to stop for gas is great.

Wish all of our vehicles were diesel. Been keeping an eye out for a last year TDI sport wagon to replace our gasser 7.5 golf. My cummins has been getting ridiculous mileage, 850 to a tank - not bad for 130l tank. meanwhile my diesel touareg gets 1150 to a tank and that only holds 100l

77L cost me around $123 earlier today. I think I'm getting 12ish per 100. I was getting 10 when I had more hwy to work but it's all stop and go secondary roads since we moved.

After all these years you'd think a guy would know to jam the pump with the gas cap and jump back in the truck. Step your pump game up Aaron, sheesh.
