I had a nice hangover last weekend after drinking vodka & water. Its no miracle anti-hangover drink.

I thought for a minute last weekend that I somehow got a hangover off vodka and water, until I realized I was simply still drunk.

Someone at work was like, "Rory, I found this new vodka that's even smoother than Grey Goose. It's called Effen, and it's only $30 for a 26."

I guess I should try this stuff.

He was probably wrong on the $30 thing. The whole reason I was going to try it is that Grey Goose is $43 for a quart here.

    Gin & Water > Vodka & Water

I encourage you all to try it. Doesn't taste like a rotten pine tree at all.

I haven't tried it yet and I keep meaning to. Maybe I'll have a vodka & water with breakfast.

Is it best with regular vodka or is it wrong to have flavoured vodka with water?

I drink two things. Red wine and Fresca on ice, or vodka water. Best.

Although bad, I'm sure you've never had anything worse than those Disaronno and Coke hangovers. I seem to recall a very dead 17 many times. Thats a ridiculous amount of sugar.

Still to this day, if I drink hard liquor, I mix it with only water. Usually vodka or bourbon.

Here is a lil' drink we discovered when trying out stuff at the bar.

    Gin + 7up/Sprite + Pink Lemonade

Mix the 7up and Pink Lemonade at a 70/30 mix and add pretty much as much Gin as you want. Not sure of the science behind it, but the LemonLime taste from the 7up counteracts the tartness of the Pink Lemonade, and that mix seems to completely numb the Gin. Can't even smell the Pine Tree, let alone taste it.

We called them "House Specials" (I think the real name is a Doc Hollyblock) and they get you MESSED up!! Very easy going down.
