    US Aircraft carrier in port. Heading into the city shortly for an appt. Anyone know of a good spot to get some photos?

    Saw Lowe posted some stuff about it, mentioned they have protection by a couple gun ships. I wanna see that!

    They travel as part of a carrier group. There is also at least one sub with them at all times. When the Roosevelt was here it was docked near shearwater.

    Bunch of the sailors were volunteering at local charities and organizations as well I believe

    the rules are hard to Interpret. The cut off is halfway up my street so I can’t even fly one from my house if I wanted to :lol:

    micro drones under 250g don't have the same no fly rules, however I believe Shaun Lowe pointed out, its technically an airport so shouldnt be anywhere near it.

    On the Canadian site for drones, I get a “airspace: shearwater NS (Heliport) CZ Class D, SFC to 3500ft” at my place and it’s in a red zone. I’m literally 100m inside the red.

    and I just want to know if I can fly a sub 250g drone from my house or not :lol:

    I'm sure even the micro drones will be banned soon given that people don't apply any common sense flying them.
