so do I, but poeple usually end up looking pike the devil when I do that. There is no red eye reduction tool?
Its pretty easy actually Rob, I cant remember all the steps but you basically select the eye itself and adjust the color by going to image, adjust, and under there you go to color balance and lower the cyan which is red, and you can play around with magenta and yellow to make it look natural. If you need help pm me or send me the pictures!
First, Photoshop is way overkill for this. Pirate something else that is better for this particular task. The list is too long, try versiontracker and search for red eye. Anyway, it is relatively simple. You need to use the Magic Wand Tool. It will auto select the red eye areas when you click in them. You can then just fill the selection with black using the paint can or something. You may need to adjust the tolerance of the magic wand for your particular situation. That is pretty much exactly how all the automatic red eye reduction systems work.
I usually just zoom in, lasso pupils then Image>adjustments>selective color... and put the cyan slider to +100% for the reds repete a few times
Man, I have photoimpression that I'll send to ya... it has a very simple little red eye that you click, hehe, bonus!!
