Does anyone know a quick and easy way to get rid of these guys? My Norton detected it and wouldn't remove it.... I also Trend Micro, it detected all of them but wouldn't delete them.... please help
Won't Norton at least quarantine it ? There must be a file identified you can just delete or something
backdoor.trojan Norton won't even pick it up when I do a scan.... but, yet, is the one who detected it I need some computer Amoxil
Download this and try that... http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/FixAutoupder.exe If you want to read any further about the removal of this go to http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/backdoor.autoupder.removal.tool.html I know it says it's the backdoor.autoupder removal tool, but on the previous page it said that older virus defintions will list this as backdoor.trojan... hopefully that solves something
If that doesn't work you may want to try what was mentioned in this. http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=si_virus&message.id=22057
killed the Trojan... I think... but now I have a WORM_SDBOT.SW .... GRRRRR Been here for an hour and a half
