I'm waffling between proper mirrors or extended caps. I think I may get the caps this year and see if I can live with them or not. I'm in the poor house at the moment. :)

I did extender caps on my Silverado before finally swapping to tow mirrors. Real mirrors are sooo much better. But the caps will get you by until then.

Pretty sure 11-16 F350 stock mirrors will bolt right onto that truck as well. I picked up a pair in ebay for $140 delivered to my door for my truck.

Actually I looked into it. There is a factory max tow mirror that came on some 11-14 F150 trims. Could probably pick up a set of those used pretty cheap. Big mirrors are awesome for towing and even better for backing up lol.

You can go as far back as 09 for f150 tow mirrors. I’m guessing they’re going to run about $500 a set used. Make sure you don’t buy the ones that have power telescope/fold since you won’t have the switch on the door to make them work and there’s no sense in paying extra for it.

Thanks! I was looking at the Trail Ridge mirrors, they jump to $800US/pair once you start adding features like power folding (which mine currently have).

I was already thinking of hitting up the wrecker yards for tow mirrors off a F250. It would be nice to match features, but will be like finding the needle in the hay stack.

I think that is the only feature I am missing on my truck that I wish I had is the tow mirrors.
