1987 Buick GNX Brand spanking new. Only $135k! http://cgi.ebay.ca/Buick-Grand-Nati...oryZ6137QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
About 10 years ago that car sold for 40k. 2-3 years ago it sold for 80k. They should have waited until May.
Actually, this is the same display as the last sale. Maybe it didn't sell. And I'd have to look into it, but it appears to be missing 2 badges.
Hmmm. Apparently they didn't come with the "3.8L SFI Turbo" badges on the hood. I learned something today.
I fail to see the point in owning that car. Why have such a bad ass car and not drive it? I'd rather have one worked in a bit that I could beat on.
The rarity factor, theres not alot left so if you beat on it and fuck it up, you cant replace it without paying a fortune. That being said I gotta find out what number the one at work is
That car is essentially an investment for a collector. If you want one to drive and beat on, you buy one like mine.
ok, nice car i agree but at 135G canadian, i'd sooner get a new nissan gtr. at least i could drive the thing.
Difference is in a few years the GTR wont be worth anywhere near what this car is. Once again, this isn't a car that people are buying to drive. They're buying it to make money.
I'm surprised that this car didn't cross the block at the Barret Jackson Auctions. You'd think that Barret Jackson > eBay for selling cars like this.
I understand that but cars were built to drive, not just to look at. If you want to get something to just look at, get a painting or something like that. If you get a car, get it to drive. Of course that's just imho but i'd sooner have something i can enjoy driving than worry about how much humidity is in the place where it's stored all the time. And i used the GTR as something in the same price range.
Dont get me wrong, its a very well performing machine, but its too computery. I guess you need a 3 hour session on how to drive it before you take it off the lot or something. Id rather have a GT2 or a ZR1
A friendd of mine found that out the hard way. It was fine in the rain until he got on the boost...the parking meters on the side of the street didn't appreciate it one bit. But hey....we got like $50 in change out of it!
AWD, heated leather seats, plenty of trunk space, automatic transmission... yeah, I think they did build it for the milk run!
First time I drove my car was just above freezing with a little bit of water on the ground (took it to get safetied). It was an adventure.
