Mostly farm stuff... picked up channel to build removable diving walls to be setup in the shipping container we set up as a shelter for horses in for training.

Continue building a "new" dump cart, hopefully can get the hydraulics mocked up; kind of doubt I'll get them hooked up but ya never know I guess.

Oh and I need to pull the refrigerant out of my heat pump and replace a stupid TX valve... I'd REALLY like AC this weekend I think.

Waiting on this rain to slow down and then heading to Digby for the weekend. We have an autoslalom event at the airport down there. Big fast wide open courses, lots of fun.

Working for a few hours this morning while I'm waiting for friends to drive down from Edmonton. Then we're headed to Fernie for the weekend. Weather looks spotty. Mid-teens with chance of showers for most of the weekend...

My office shuts down next week across North America so while it isn't Canada Day in Seattle, I am in for a good stretch of time off - also taking the week off after so I can get a full 2 weeks. Timing wise, it kind of sucks - my boss put in his resignation yesterday and there will be a lot of jostling going on and my name is in the mix. I'm guessing I'll be having a bunch of phone calls with beer in hand on a beach somewhere over that "time off".

Getting out for some good bike rides this weekend and getting ready for camping which we'll start on Monday.

BootsBoots - Facebook memory today from 2009 was about Flow 1.0 launching. LOL

I’m on call this weekend. So when there’s no service work I’ll be doing some digging in the yard to bury a wire for a generator hook up. Then putting together some ikea stuff for a reno.

    No relaxing weekend for me

Going to my older sister's tonight for her boyfriend's birthday party. Tomorrow, going to my mom's for the afternoon for a BBQ and swimming, I can't wait! I might go into Halifax tomorrow night with some siblings after the BBQ to see the fireworks. I wanted to go to the Dartmouth side to see the concert as well...but my younger sister said "music is boring, I just wanna see fireworks". :grumble:

We did a road trip to Economy to look at some waterfalls. Ended up driving 9km down a muddy logging road in my fwd low ground clearance car, and left the wife’s awd suv at home :cheddar:

I got to the end and the only other vehicles there was a lifted Tacoma and a f150, they couldn’t believe I made it down there with minimal damage RIP the bracket that holds my wheel well liner to the bellypan

When I was in highschool there was a giant party at Tomahawk Lake. The 'road' back there was Jeep material at best but that night it was a sea of kids driving their parents cars back there  I don't know how more cars didn't get wrecked.

The heat wave continues here for the rest of the week. Anyone want 40+ degree humidex? I have plenty to give out.

I had a great long weekend with the other half.
Had some beers on a few patios with great food. BBQ's, brews and campfires with great friends. Caught a movie together.

Was great :) Wishing it wasn't over for another 3 weeks.

Rained off and on all weekend in Fernie with temps in the mid-teens. Decent hiking weather, but not great drinking weather.

Worked in +30 heat for 12 hours yesterday, come inside and wife had central AC set to 16 so I could cool off quickly...so refreshing. Going to be +35 to +40 with humidex the next few days yet.
