Busa's are garbage, sure they are fast in a straight line, try taking some turns with it. but yeah like you need to boost a 1300CC sport bike...hella fast stock
I had my 600 F4 doing that, that's not an uncommon speed to hit with a sportbike these days, let alone a boosted busa. However, what he was doing was power wheelies at 275.
I have ridden with guys that can straight hustle a Busa, suprized me. A busa is much more capable in the corners than 98% of the riders out there.
and people wonder why bikes dont get much respect on the road.. watching that kind of freeway driving would piss me off assuming im in a car that they are passing between the lines at 200kph. fast bike though. id kill my self on that for sure
I love reading shit like this, like you really know what you're talking about! Haha. Yeah, you read that statement off the 'net and you've never saddled one...
Completely Legal to pass in between lanes in Vegas ... Dunno if it is for the whole state of nevada ... but still ... Busa's are great for experienced riders ... I personally just don't like the looks of them ...
Feel safe? not really, however I wouldn't say that I was scared. Whenever I hid mid 200km/h+ speeds, I was always on a clear highway.
I suppose it owuld be different when you are the one controlling the bike yourself Still, can't say I'd ever do it... in fear of losing control.
id do it for the hell of it... get it up there pretty quick then let off... and as long as you dont go into a speed wobble, you'll be fine.
sport bikes are rediculously easy to get used to and make you feel way too confident too fast as for doing speeds of 275 + thats nothing on a 600+ bike try the new ZX10R out.. it does snap wheelies in 3rd gear at 230km/h.. im saving for one now its fucked ive seen ppl on virago make ppl on supersports look stupid in the corners... its all in the rider finally i like boobs
Like it has been said, it's all in the rider. The Busa isn't bad, I prefered the ride on the 12R for a big bike. Both are stoopidly crazy fun when made to work hard. Nothing like smoking the rear wheel at over 100km/h then having it lft and walk away from the 600's. All kindsa fun. Bikes are suprisingly stable at speed, have had botha 12R and a Busa to top speed. The Busa felt faster only because the 12R was so smooth in relation. Try blowing a front tire @ 265, kinda fun and no where near as scary as you would think. Trick is to NOT slow down too fast, stay above 140 for as long as you can and your all good. Busa DEFINITLY NOT for a new rider. Sorry Angell I had to laugh when Pat spoke LOL
