Costco had a couple of really nice and surprisingly cheap Belkin or APC surge protectors the last time I was there.

I bought my Belkin Surgemaster II protector from Staples quite a few years ago. It was ~ $70.00 and had a "connected equipment warranty" for some ridiculous amount of money. I had bad power fluctuations in my last apartment so I wanted something decent.

I'd go with something like this.

    http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11204098&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=&lang=en-US&s=1

    or this...

Cool, I'll try and get into the city and have a look. Anywheres online (besides costco.com) that I could order this from?

I think the last Belkin link you posted is the same as the first one that I did. The money you'd save at Costco would be worth your trip in the city. I find Home Depot overpriced.
