2002 Civic LX. Currently has an Energizer from Wally World. This battery is 14 months old, but I expect a hassle on warranty since the battery technically still holds a charge.

What battery do you recommend and where do I get it? I was thinking maybe an Optimum (the yellow and red tops that Costco was selling).

I have never heard anything negative about Optimum batteries. They are pricey but worth it, especially if you run high power shit, like stereo amps, or a plow (every civic should have a plow)

    Optima.

    I'd recommend an Interstate.

I have an Optima yellow top. No issues whatsoever in the two years it's been in.

For what it's worth, I have the factory battery in my car. I'll replace it with another OEM battery when the time comes, BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE THE FUCKING OPTION TO GET ANYTHING ELSE!

I've actually only had Ac Delco batteries and they always worked fine for me. I may look at a Interstate battery if I actually keep a vehicle long enough for it to be worth it.
