There used to always be bats down at the lake at night. You could sit out and see they swooping down catching flies. I can't remember the last time I've seen one :(

Same, so many bats down here. Fly around over your head while you walked the road. Haven't seen one in years

Put out bat houses, they might come back. I get some here, good for mosquitos.

White nose pretty much cleaned them out. Only a few small secret clusters left now.

Out walking the dogs - that view is stunning - like the mountains are painted in there.

Gun Club had an open house yesterday and I dropped off my new .22 Murdergun. I thought it would be a good opportunity for them to pay for the ammo to break it in for me normally I would dry fire it but it's a no go on these .22 revolvers. Also on the plus side it's always nice to have as many sets of finger prints on a murdergun as possible. :guns:
The kids had a great time and at the end of the day I ran 10 rounds through it and it is getting better.
This little guy shot it in single action and was hitting the steel every time and grinning from ear to ear.

Incredible experience last night watching the Sounders FC play to a 3-0 win for the CONACAF finals win. By far the biggest sporting event I’ve ever attended, incredible atmosphere. My voice is barely working today!

I try and watch soccer, I try and get into it...then someone touches someone else, half the field falls in pain and it all goes out the window for me

I never watched soccer before I moved to Seattle and kind of had the same opinion. It’s different seeing it live though I do still get aggravated at how quickly players go down - getting a foul called is such a big advantage, it happens all the time - after a while, you get to know which players do it all the time and just start booing them. In this game, 2 Sounders players left the field on a stretcher and didn’t return, though, so it’s not all faked. And the ball control and actual gameplay is incredible to watch.

I agreed that these are very skilled athletes. which makes it that much more embarrassing to see them dive like they do.

I agree on the soccer player diving. Unfortunately it is engrained so deeply into the game that it has lost all appeal to me.

If you get the chance, watch some Austrailian rules football. I don't understand the rules or know the teams, let alone the players, but god damn it is an entertaining game. Everything soccer should be.

Women's soccer is also played without the diving aspect.

You should have asked the douche bag who stuck their ugly truck in your sunset photo to move out of the way.

That's how you know he lives in a small town. He gets these nice sunset photos and the same asshole keeps parking his truck in the middle of the shot lol
