Im pretty sure theres something wrong with the drivers side lock on the precidia, because nearly every key you put in there, although it will unlock, the key is insainly twisted afterwards. sometimes to the point of having to throw it out after one use. Im wondering if theres any way I can get a *stronger* key that wont twist and junk in the lock? Made out of a different material? Thicker? Or is it worth it to get the lock fixed? Thanks
all the precidia door locks do that after 10 years you have to kind of torque the key quickly to not bend it...there's definitely a technique. luckily my lock cylinders are shaved off
yup, instead of twisting, it's like...a quick torque to the left hard to explain. you'll get it. you could also just install electronics though, so you can just press a button to unlock the doors
I was just thinking about not locking the doors anymore. Altogether, we've had to have 7 keys for 2 people, all but one are twisted.
Don't wanna keep replace the keys, take the thing somewheres and get it fixed. Solve the problem, don't remedy it.
