I have a stamp I got a couple months ago, before they went up in price. It has no pricing on it - can I still use it without problem, or do I have to get the lesser stamps to bring it up to value?
Last pack of stamps I bought had no value on them and claimed to be good for a number of years even if the cost went up. I haven't had any issues using them.
I don't have two... I didn't have to drive somewhere to pick up more. I'll ask around here at work too - someone's bound to mail more than I do.
Is there a "P" instead of a value? The PERMANENT™ stamp, identified with the letter P in place of a value, is always accepted at the current domestic postage price. So if you buy a PERMANENT stamp today, you can still use it in at any time in the future – no more 1 cent stamps when the postal rates increase. Self-adhesive PERMANENT stamps are available in booklets and in coils of 100 stamps. One stamp can be used to mail a letter up to 30 grams anywhere in Canada, or more postage can be added to mail larger letters or parcels, or to send mail internationally.
