Hi Becca... were you lookin' for some C&C on these pics?
If you are, I'll be glad to tell you what makes some better than others
lol... I was about to.... but then noticed no C&C... so......
She wants to learn photography, you guys might as well.
CC is helpful and useful, but can also be very frustrating and disappointing if you're not in a space where you're ready for it/want it. People just chiming in without someone asking for it isn't good.
Edit: Mosher... too late!
For me #5 stands out the most for me... it looks as if you're creepin' up on that person.
Beside #2 & #5 there is no real subject or focal point that catches my eye. My eye continues to roam the picture looking for the focal point. #4, the shed, had lots of potential. I would have tried a different angle and either captured the entire shed or focused/framed on an element of the shed, like the windows/shutters or the broken part. Generally, try applying the rules of thirds on these these key elements. Overall.. these are some interesting pictures / objects... keep at it and keep posting. We all enjoy lookin' at pics and helping others..... atleast I do!
She really does want to learn. She's a singer/actress, she knows how to take constructive criticism.
My main artistic outlet is performing, but I love photography as a hobby.
You guys can comment and give constructive criticism if you'd like. But keep in mind I don't take my photography really seriously. But if I can learn some more things about composition, that'd be great : )
I've even contemplated going to school for photography..but I've decided against it. I love performing too much : )
