Got out with the boy, did a little fishing yesterday. Top fish hooked deep, much blood, kept him. Little fella was released. Only two we got, but bugs weren't bad so its a win

This little dude joined us on the 29th and is officially 1 week old today. He has had an eventful week requiring an extended hospital stay (6 days) because he couldn’t keep his blood sugars up and needed an IV for a few days.

    Meet Bowen “Bo”
    6lbs 9oz

We were expecting to have a practically bald baby with some peach fuzz and are still shocked at his hair.

Thanks guys! He is definitely a little ray of light in this messed up world we are currently experiencing.
I would be lying if it said I wasn’t scared shitless about bringing an innocent tiny human into this world, especially in its current state.

Because of whackos like boing, I don’t post pictures of my kids on here. Instead, my view for much of the weekend:

    4DAFE9E9-CD0F-4C24-817D-A7F625C34392.jpeg

Remote/natural camping in Eastern Washington. When you’re in a National Forest area, you can camp wherever you want. We were about 300m in from a forest road (my poor van) on the Cle Elum River. So relaxing - no masks all weekend!

Have two nests under our deck, only one with eggs. Then yesterday came across a nest on my shitter pipe of the trailer with eggs. Gonna have to relocate that one unfortunitly

Moonbat are you are trying to make me sound like a pedo, you are the one that posted about your kids melt downs and losing their shit on here. That has nothing to do with you posting pictures of them so call me a wacko all you want, that's fine.

My earlier post may have been a little harsh maybe you weren't accusing me of being a pedo, I understand you probably have to keep the kids helmets on while they are out, sorry about that.

We have them under our deck too. The 4 eggs we had this year all hatched. Robin's have been making nests under our deck since we bought the place.

Same for me. I love the stock wheels but bronze+black has always been my favourite combo so I've been looking for this setup for a while now.

Disclaimer: I wish I knew how to use my wife's camera these are my old phone.
I have one family starting to bring the little ones around they are ugly little buggers
These are the back ally crows I have another nest across the street that also has fledged but mama has not brought them down to the yard yet.
This one is just the young crow reaching it's head down the cross bar there are hardly no feathers on their heads.

Well the wife came home and got some better shots of the little beauty's
Her camera is sooo much better and like I said they are so ugly  but it's better to be friends with them then enemies, these are not the ones I am closest (normally feed) to but they are the most active right now.

Nice vid, I am not friendly enough with the crows to do that :eek7:

But I did just have a visit from the crows from across the street and they have two little ones fully feathered unlike the poor alley crows

Had a great camping/scouting trip. Myself, wife and kids went with some friends to the area we will be hunting, just to look for good areas. Kids had a blast. Some Newfie friends had this gigantic pan for a "stump fire cook" and made fajitas on night 2. Parker is getting really good with his bow. Great times to blow off some steam!
