So... Our server is fucked up..

    Its on.. Buddy I work with kinda does our IT.. Hes the IT department, AP/AR, and HR.

    Were running a tight ship right now, trying to get the company off the ground.. haha.

    Anyhow, he fucked it. Theres some missing registry values, and shit like that. I dont know much about it, just that we need someone to come fix it.

    can you bouce it back a restore point or two....to a date when you know it was working? What does your server do? File Server, Active Directory, Domain Controller...

    heh....im a network adminstrator....beleive me...the firewall/proxy server isn't going to let me anywhere near any chatting programs.

    So hey...

    I'm the Accounting, HR, IT and Owner of the company mentioned above. LOL

    Umm Yeah..JP is right I fucked it. I just don't know how I fucked it. It is still working actually, but not correctly.

    So here is what I really want. I am going to back up all the important information and then Format it. Reinstall Server 2008 and start again...

    That is where I need someone that knows what they are doing. I want this bitch set up properly. I will make no bones about it, I know nothing about it. My brother in law set it up originally. I was in changing some permissions and somehow deleted every value in the Root section.

    So anyone up for the challenge of setting up a server from a fresh install? I need you to ask me the right questions and help me determine what it is that I want. (From a User and security point of view)

    Anyhow..drop me a line and we will go from there.
