Did the same. Dealing with the Death of my mother, and an injury I took some time off.
Started back yesterday... The gym was missed, but welcomed when I returned.

Started training pretty hard about 6 weeks ago . Still working on my diet but its starting to come together. Down 7 lbs in 3 weeks. Recently kicked things in high gear to get ready for Cuba. As of today I am 206 lbs however I put on jeans yesterday that I had a hard time fitting into at 195.

y goal is to be sub 200 in 13 days. Full body weight training and interval cardio training 25 min a day and doing this squat challenge I think ill hit my goal. My longer term goals are to be a lean 185 by July 1rst.

Diet consists of allbran and egg whites for breakfast, protein shake at 10. Chicken and broccoli for lunch Greek yogurt and apple for snack. Chicken or eggs with broccoli or spinach salad and brown rice for supper. Bed time snack is almonds and Greek yogurt. Post workout is protein shake and apple

Morning before Cuba weigh in 197 lbs. I'm introducing more calories now to try to find a balance in slimming my mid section while packing on some muscle.

I am at 208 lbs, summer sports has picked up the weight loss again. Down 6 lbs in last two weeks and down 26 lbs since moving to NB in Sept.

No gym, no P90x, no diets...just eating less in general, drinking A LOT less, and playing a shit load of sports.

I still eat what I want but the weight is falling off. By end of summer I expect to be around 185 lbs

    Haha, sorry Scott.

LMAC - shipping is free, it'll get to you in Ottawa within 2 days typically. Depends on how much you order, if it's over $200 - use the coupon code "savemore" if it's under that, go with "thankyou30".

On the RIVALUS website, by the way.

How's everyone doing with their fitness goals?

I just looked at my "before" pictures... my FUCK I was a fat body.

Not where I wanted to be by now, but I'm still in the gym and eating miles better than I used to.

My new goal is to run my first 5k this summer... I hate running but that's gotta change.

    Here's something inspiring:

Still love working out. Took a few week break for some minor surgery and gave my shoulder a rest due to some discomfort. My physio lady figures its the bicep tendon in my shoulder giving me grief when doing bench/incline bench. Ive since started bringing my elbows in more and less flared out. Much better. Shoulder still gets sore, but I don't have the annoying clicking going on with each rep and the major discomfort for the next week.

But I so enjoy it. Really getting into deadlifts. Arod gave me some great pointers and its probably one of my favorite exercises. Love back day!

Elbows in is absolutely the way to bench. Also make sure your shoulder blades are pinched tight together and squeeze your traps!

Working on a bit of an arch will help put the load onto your traps when benching and take strain off of your shoulders as well.

Both my shoulders click and pop when I'm working out... I've learned to live with it but I wish they didn't.

PS: I've lost over 20 lbs so far!

Daver, cut out bread and booze for a week.

If you're anything like me, it's half your diet and you'll melt 10lbs off like it's butter.

    Butter on toast... with beer.

I learned that filling up with veggies (not carbs), and portion control is key.
I weigh all my foods, and count my macros (i also pre make all my meals to avoid any cheating).
    just gotta stay dilligent
get rid of the beer (if you drink it) breads/wheat. most ppl try to cut fats.. which is actually kinda wrong. you still need fats (but good fats).
most people eat too much carbs, and thats their downfall.
