I am on the last stage of fixing/restoring my 240, all i have left now is paint and a new windshield. Which took a fair amount of time to complete on my salary and experence. I'll post some before and after pictures once i get the exterior cleaned up. My question is: Where would be the cheapest place to buy a windsheild for my car. a 1989 240sx coupe? i say cheap because i am a highschool student working crappy hours at sobeys. all i need is the glass i know someone that will install it for me.
Re painted interior back to stock patched and fixed wipers new brakes all around every component was replaced cept the lines. new cluthc slave and HP line Installed deck, 6.5's and 2 6x9's where 6.5 are usually. new struts, springs, strut hats new gear oil, engine oil tough work that one. fixed HUD fixed power moonroof patched license plate lights and backing painted and cleaned engine bay. (cleaned components no paint) Replaced power window motors replaced both door handles &locks Striped gay gold paint off rims. and more. when i think of it. all without a FSM and very low budget (mainly why it took so long)
I would try the junk yards around here, or see if someone is parting one out in the bargain hunter, that might be harder to get though...good luck which struts and springs did you go with?
stock, im tight on money and i still have no idea how im going to afford insurence. ill see what i come up with. ill call around and see.
