sharing a modem...

    kind of a repost...but we have two computers in our house and we want to hook them up to the same modem with a router.....which one would be the best? any suggestions?

    I like linksys as well, but what are the specs on it? a/b/g?

    I have had success with a couple dlink items in the past... but only consider this one if you need the print server.

    I don't have experience with netgear. And I think microsoft has enough of my money already. :D

    I have a Belkin ,had it for the last yera or so and have had no problems with it.I bought it used for 40 bucks and I think I definetly got my moneys worth on it.

    i dont have the wireless card....so would i need something else. i just have high speed internet on one computer and i want it on my computer in the next room.

    a regluar router would be better then id imagine........... you gotta connect it with cables and shit.

    Staples has a D-link wired router on sale this week for 40 bucks.

    Get a linksys if you want half of your internet applications to not work anymore :lol:
