    SEPT 11/12

Well back again is the BMW Porsche school at AMP. This school is held twice a year, and all i can say is the best chance in atlantic canada to stand beside such makes as BMW, Porsche, Maserati, Ferrari etc.

Vistors are welcome to watch, as long as the vistor signs the wavier form and plays to the track rules. I think these rules should be pretty obvious.

What is due to run to date.

    Numerous E30 Bmw M3's
    Numerous E36 Bmw M3's
    Numerous E46 Bmw M3's
Porsche 930 turbo aka flame thrower, 358 whp
Porsche 993 twin turbo aka retarded car. Converted to rear wheel drive, pushing over 500 horse
    Ferrari 550
    Ferrari 360 F-1
    Ferrari 355
    Ferrari 328 gts
    Porsche boxters
    VW golfs
    Mazda RX 8's
    Numberous bmw's
    Volvo S60R
    Porsche 996 911 cab
    Mazda protege
    Corvette Z06
    Acura Integra GSr (yours truly)
Acura CL type s (yours truly)
    Acura TL type S
    Acura RSX type s
    Masterati roadster
New ferrari yet to be decided upon.
    The list goes on.

If directions are needed please visit the AMP web site. Great times are had by all who watch. Any questions can be pm'd to me.

You can check out the cars in the pits, and walk to various sections of the track for better views. My fave spot is right along the front straights the cars FLY by.

IMO best place to watch is down in the 3/4/5 area, like up on the hill at the entrance to 1, to your left coming thru the tunnel in the infield, or on the bleachers in turn 3... also if you go down the trail that starts by the admission kiosk, you can get around so you're on the outside of 3/4, which is also a good place.... that or in the tower

Cost is 0 dollars, as long as you sign the wavier and pay attention to normal track rules. Am sure these rules are pretty clear as they are only common sense.

Boots as for setup there is exercises in the morning, then at lunch till 5 there is flat out lapping.

As for a ride i might be able to take you for a short 4 lap run.

Any time after 11am is the best. Sunday is more of a lapping day then saturday. Each morning from 8 till 11 is exercises. Then instructors go out do some laps at speed then the students do laps at speed for a number of sessions through out the afternoon.

I was out for the June school. It was awesome. Will have to be there for one of the days. I think there's a solo II as well that weekend, I'd like to take in both events.

Nice! I guess as a spectator, viewing the lapping would be the best. I might have to come out and see this!

Yeah because it would fit in well with all the wings and downtown posts

I think its fine here, let me see, sports cars at a race track, hmm, sounds like motorsports discussion to me. Maybe you should go back to watching reruns of Queer eye for the straight guy and we'll take care of the motorsports posts
