    Like the title says.

I am looking for the bank that offers the best interest rate on a savings account. Best i have come across is 1.25%.

Currently i have Servus credit unit @ .200% which sucks.

    Post yours up.

    Just comparing max interest rate:

    BMO 1.35 >5k
    CIBC 1.35 >5k
    HSBC 1.3 >100k
    ING 1.5
    PC 1.5 >1k
    Scotia 1.35 >5k
    TD 1.25 >5k
    RBC 1.25

Each account will have different benefits and features.

I'm with Presidents Choice - they have one of the best interest rates around and NO SERVICE CHARGES. :)

    My Scotiabank account offers 0.150%.

The percent doesn't much matter because I don't use any of my savings accounts for actual "savings" or investing purposes.

I've been with Achieva Financial for 4 years now. Its an online credit union bank. They are paying 2% on a basic savings account.

I use a mix of AGF Canadian Bond fund, and high yield canadian bond for my every day savings.. It's been yielding between 4-7% for the past 2 years...
