Almost all of my Amazon packages are delivered by intelcom express now (contract delivery people) so I wouldn't be surprised if Bridgewater is considered rural as far as Amazon goes
I'm in Northern Alberta and I get some Amazon stuff the next day! Typically it's 2 days. But some is next day.
Wow. I'm surprised! Anything more than 2 days and I talk to support and get a month of prime free lol
Also discovered that we don't even have a mail box so ordering anything coming through Canada Post is going to be an issue!
Yeah, we have to do General Delivery to the post office. The problem we have right now is that we're on quarantine so we can't go to the post office to pick stuff up.
My sister-in-law lives on the lake and is just around the corner but I feel like she's already done enough already. Not a big deal. We can get through quarantine and then go to an actual store. I was just hoping to take care of some Christmas shopping while we're stuck.
Had someone point out that Google Fi has unlimited data plans - still not truly unlimited but I can put that completely on my work CC and top up data as I go. So, things looking up. Cell data has been mostly fine so far - had a couple of video chats freeze up today but that's happened on Fibre internet at home before as well. Video chat just sucks in general sometimes.
Well, I tried a bunch of VPN stuff but just realised I didn't try getting a VPN going on the Pixel device itself. I was setting up VPN connections on the devices I was using to share WiFi to the Pixel and then trying to activate the eSIM. But maybe if I install a VPN on the Pixel itself and then activate, it'll work?
